A print can hold the memory of a trip or an encounter long after you return home. Our 一期一会 — Ichigo Ichie artwork pairs Japanese kanji with the words “Cherish each encounter.” If you would like to display it, choose your frame size before choosing the file.
This guide covers the single Ichigo Ichie digital print sold by Karuchatei. The separately sold bundles have their own listed contents.

One artwork, three print formats
The single product includes three PNG layouts at 300 dpi, delivered in two ZIP downloads. They contain the same lettering and geometric pattern, with margins adjusted for each format. The artwork is not stretched or cropped.
- 3:4: 3600 × 4800 pixels, for 6 × 8, 9 × 12, or up to 12 × 16 inch prints.
- 8 × 10 inches: 2400 × 3000 pixels, a 4:5 ratio.
- A4: 2480 × 3508 pixels, for 210 × 297 mm paper.
Three examples for choosing your file
- You have an 8 × 10 inch frame: use the 8 × 10 layout. Check the opening or mount size, rather than measuring the outside of the frame.
- You want an A4 print: use the A4 layout and select A4 paper. US Letter is a different ratio; an automatic “fill page” setting can crop the artwork.
- You have a 12 × 16 inch frame: use the original 3:4 layout. The same file can be printed smaller at 6 × 8 or 9 × 12 inches.
Download, print and frame
Download both ZIPs and extract them. The original ZIP contains the 3:4 PNG; the additional-formats ZIP contains the 8 × 10 and A4 PNGs with the updated printing guide.
For a print service, request the stated dimensions without cropping. At home, match the paper size and layout in the print preview. Avoid stretching the image or using a fill option that trims its edges. Edge-to-edge output requires a printer that supports borderless printing or a suitable print service. Some home printers leave a white border.
Screen and print colors can differ. A small test print can help you choose paper and printer settings before printing the final size.
